Samsung Galaxy S10 Wallpapers, Available for Download

The Samsung Galaxy S10 wallpapers are now available for download, thanks to the good folks at XDA. There appears to be six wallpapers in total all the same except for the colors used.

As everyone has noticed, each wallpaper is dark in the top right corner. This isn’t a mistake, it’s to hide the punch holes for the front facing cameras. Feel free to download by following the link below.

Google Pixel 3 XL Leaked In Clearly White

The photos come courtesy of XDA Forums member dr.guru who claims that the prototype doesn't boot because it's been remotely wiped by Google. The leaked photo's of the fastboot screen shows that there's "no valid slot to boot." you can also see the phone's nickname is crosshatch, and that it has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.



The logo on the back is used by Google for engineering units with the barcodes and identifying stickers. The back of the phone is rumored to be all glass with top part glossy and bottom part matte, a single part of glass. The notch looks to house the dual front facing cameras.

Fortnite For Android, Exclusive To Samsung Galaxy Note 9

Sources familiar with the developer Epic Games plans claim Fortnite for Android will launched at the same time as the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. 

Samsung and Epic Games have partnered for the release of Fortnite for Android, meaning the game will be exclusively available on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The limited time exclusivity will expire after 30 days.

XDA Developers stated " Our source now informs us that Fortnite Mobile on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will work with Samsung DeX. Furthermore, Samsung’s DeX is getting revamped and will no longer require a dedicated DeX Pad or DeX Station to run."

Access Your Favorite Apps Quickly With Sidebar

XDA Senior Member Mohammad_Adib, the same developer who gave us Floating Stickies, recently introduced his app Sidebar in the XDA forums. The app consists of a minimizable sidebar docked to the left of the screen, and simply displays shortcuts to user-defined apps. Now you may ask, how is this any different to Swapps? First of all, Sidebar’s user interface is a lot less cluttered and complicated. Sidebar does not display all apps installed on your Android phone by default, and they aren't further organized into different categories, but rather only display apps you choose to have. It can also be said that Sidebar has a more aesthetically appealing design, with an opaque dock displaying enlarged icons of apps and has the novelty of simple and pleasant touch animations.

Sidebar is a well designed, well polished app with a simple, yet practical function allowing users to quickly access their important and favorite apps quickly and conveniently. With an active and committed developer and working with Android versions 2.1 and higher.

HTC EVO 3D Gets First Taste Of ICS Via Leaked RUU

HTC has been due for something equally large on the software front for a bit now, and the ICS leak for the HTC EVO 3D suggests that the device should be getting an official release relatively soon. Hopefully, anyway.

The leaked ROM shows that HTC may still have some interest in their former flagship phone for Sprint, although given the difficulties in rolling out large updates, it is possible that we won’t see an official release until after the launch of the HTC EVO 4G LTE. XDA Recognized Developer dastin1015 has posted the RUU up for users to check out and, more importantly, for developers to get their hands on it to bring even more ICS goodness to the EVO 3D.

For users attempting to flash, approach with extreme caution as it’s been pointed out by XDA Recognized Developer chad.goodman that the mount points are wrong. Luckily, that’s currently being worked out, so it’ll be available to everyone soon. Additionally, there is already some custom ROMs being made based on the RUU for both the GSM and CDMA versions of the EVO 3D. So if you’re not confident in flashing the RUU just yet, there are some custom ROM alternatives.

Kindle Fire Silk Browser Ported To Work On Other Android Devices

The Kindle Fire entered the fast-flooding and highly competitive tablet space last year like a breath of fresh air, and has settled down admirably in its own niche, holding out extremely well against the likes of the Ipad 2, the much touted Motorola Xoom, the Samsung Galaxy Tab/s & the Asus Transformer, despite running Gingerbread, which was considered a step behind at the time. With its $199 price, and the features it offered, it was always a great device for those who wanted a tablet only for the things that a tablet could do really well, and the Kindle Fire has proved that it was a worthy choice.

Apart from the price, one of the notable features that has gathered interest around this nifty device, is the in-built web browser that it comes with, called Silk. Silk has a different approach towards loading web pages, basically meaning that pages that you regularly visit tend to load faster, by accessing information from Amazon’s massive cloud-based servers, effectively providing a more fluid experience to the user.

After a lot of testing and research, XDA member TyHi has finally managed to create a working port of Silk, which can be used on other Android devices; phones or tablets likewise.

1. Download the pack Here
2. Use Root Explorer to copy the lib files to /system/lib set permissions the same as the others.
3. Install all of the .apks like you would side load.
4. Copy the silk apk from /data/app to /system/app
5. Reboot and enjoy
