It looks like Sprint’s planned 15-year partnership with LightSqaured has hit another major snag. Sprint recently gave the troubled wireless internet service provider an additional 30 days to work out the kinks of their purposed LTE setup, with an opposing FCC. A spokesperson for the Now Network recently stated that both companies have agreed to realigning their deployment timeline to coincide with potential FCC actions.
With no specific details provided, it’s possible that this deal could be resting in its deathbed. However, it’s obvious that Sprint still has their sights set on an LTE future. The question is, will LightSquared be a part of the equation?
