HTC Publishes ICS Kernel Source For Sensation, Vivid, Sensation XE

HTC has released the source Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich kernel for the Vivid, Sensation, and Sensation XE. HTC Provides An Update On Its Ice Cream Sandwich Rollout Progress

HTC has provided some more information on where it's at in the Android 4.0 update process. The company said in a post on its official blog that it's in the "early stages" of rolling out ICS to the Sensation and Sensation XE overseas, adding that the updates for those devices will become more widely available in the coming weeks. Upgrades for the Sensation 4G on T-Mobile and the Sensation XL will follow after that. The rollout is still in its early stages, according to HTC’s announcement, and the update will need carrier approval before it arrives on your handset. So don’t panic if you haven’t got it installed by the end of the week. At least you know that it’s on its way.
